Coaching and Mentoring

Professional development is vital for creating a work environment where staff thrive and systemic change can flourish. Coaching and mentoring sustain personal growth, promote effective communication, and increase awareness and understanding about critical topics.

We build this support into our partnerships, targeting:

  • Educators aiming to improve social and emotional wellbeing programs
  • Equity leaders wanting to increase understanding of concepts and constructs to advance schoolwide initiatives
  • Professional development providers wanting to design meaningful programs and increase participation and impact whether leading in-person or virtual workshops or webinars
  • Teaching and learning leaders looking for innovative approaches to curriculum design that meet the everchanging needs of youth and teachers in this complex world
  • Service learning coordinators ready to heighten their abilities to inspire and guide school-wide adoption and curriculum growth
  • Leaders of schools or government agencies seeking clarity on their roles, responsibilities, and wanting to elevate knowledge and resources for increased capacity to influence decision-making.

Cathy worked with us as a whole faculty, in grade level teams, in subject specific teams, and also found time to work with individual teachers. Her enthusiasm and passion for her work was infectious and her open, kind and humorous manner encouraged us to contribute and share our ideas without reservation. While we undoubtedly benefited from and sought out her ideas (which are endless!), Cathy’s manner made us feel more like she was helping us fully imagine our own ideas. I believe that this sense of self-efficacy nurtured by Cathy was a major contributor to us being able to continue to innovate and improve throughout the pandemic.”
